Instructions

  1. Fill out the form fields on this page.
  2. On Bluesky, go to Settings > Account > Handle.
  3. Select "I have my own domain."
  4. Switch to the "No DNS Panel" tab.
  5. In the field labeled "Enter the domain you want to use", type your new handle.
  6. Tap or click "Verify Text File."
  7. Once the domain is verified, tap or click "Update to..."

And that’s it! Your handle should update either immediately or shortly after.

FAQ

Q: Does this cost anything?
A: Nope! It's 100% free to use.

Q: What happens to my original handle?
A: When you switch to a custom domain handle, your most recent .bsky.social username is automatically reserved for you — you can switch back to it at any time, and no one else can claim it!

Q: Can I change my subdomain?
A: Yes, however the system isn't set up to automate that just yet. If you rebranded, made a typo, or are just looking to change things up - reach out to Snax via BlueSky and she can help you update your pikaparty.social handle.

Privacy Information

To claim a custom handle, your Bluesky DID, chosen handle, and submission time are recorded. Basic profile info (like avatar and bio) is pulled from the Bluesky API to help confirm the correct account is linked.
That’s it — no IPs, no tracking, and no extra data collected. Information is never sold or shared with third parties.
